Potomac Physicians, P.A. will provide quality, comprehensive, personalized health care - at the most appropriate time and setting in a cost-effective manner.

Potomac Physicians, P.A. is a professional association of Primary Care physicians which provides medical care to members of health maintenance organizations (HMO's) on a capitated basis and to private patients on a fee-for-service basis.

Potomac Physicians, P.A., Our medical group staff is composed of approximately 50 primary care providers (internist, family practitioners, pediatricians and mid-level practitioners) with some 150 support staff. There is also a resource group available to help with any questions. This group consists of our Medical Director, Director of Operations/Quality Management, and our Executive Director & Chief Financial Officer and another 24 Administrative Support Staff. Additionally, each medical office has a Clinical Director and a Center Administrator.

Our physicians are graduates of accredited American residency programs, and are Board Certified or Board Eligible. In addition to their outpatient practices, our physicians manage hospitalization patient care at community hospitals. Our mid-level practitioners are also certified and provide ambulatory care to our members at our clinical sites. Our members receive specialty care through referrals to contracted physicians who are part of our affiliated specialist panel.
